Old news archive.

In this section of the site you will find the old news that were moved from the Main Page for reasons of space. It helps keeping the site tidy and uncluttered :)... I don´t expect much visits on this part of the site but it´s my duty to keep it in order so instead of drowning in news you can use the "Old news page Index" below to go to specific months and the "Top" buttons to return here. Have a nice hunting down there!!!.

Old news:

September, 28th, 2005:

The usual updates on the "Daily report" have been uploaded shortly after written, so there you have a bunch of text in case you want to. The "Media" section is bigger now thanks to the inclusion of two new "Related Art" entries: check them out since it´s the best sight you can get of World 1-5 before I feel like doing some screenshots :).

September, 25th, 2005:

Apart from the daily updates at the "Daily report" sections, you get a couple of music files in the "Media" part of the site. Some sketches are ready to be scanned so they can be added to the "Media" section too, but that will have to wait to the next update!.

September, 19th, 2005:

I updated the page a little more. Fixed some broken links and some text, added two sites to the "links" page and added a new file to the "Media section": a "Related art" entry. Of course, I did the pertinent "Daily reports" with the last minute information regarding this project. Stay tuned!.

September, 17th, 2005:

This is a special day for "Against the Clock": as you can see, "Against the Clock" has moved to a new website provided by DooMad of www.teamhellspawn.com. In this new site you will find all that once was in the old (that by the way, will have it´s "Against the Clock" content deleted and the space used for reviews and other Doom levels purposes, so hold on there!!!) and maybe a little bit more. That said, I hope you enjoy the layout and don´t forget to check all the sections since there´s plenty of new stuff in each one of them!!!.

September, 12th, 2005:

It has been almost a month since the last update in this space... I doubt this space is something special, since there´s a new section in the main page but anyway, "Against the Clock" keeps on moving forward. If you´re checking this often you´ll have noticed a lot of "Daily Reports" that talk not only on World 1-4 being almost complete but also about updates to the engine and new stuff like a score marker and new scripts added. That said, work on "Against the Clock" continues.

August, 17th, 2005:

The architecture for World 1-4 is done, as mentioned in the "Daily report" and stated in the "Status report" of the project. Also, the long-ago promised "Screenshots" of World 1-4 have been uploaded. They may not be as beautiful as some others, but this World has some hidden surprises, not necessarily of visual nature, but surprises after all!!!. The achievement on the completion of the architecture means another great leap towards the completion of "Against the Clock", so it´s drawing nearer!.

June, 30th, 2005:

Yet another major step has been taken on the development: World 1-3 has been completed and so it´s stated in the updates in the "Status Report" and "Working on" sections. No new Screenshots have been added, so you´ll have to cope with what´s around but soon there will be more visual stuff to come as work is done in a new map. The finishing of World 1-3 marks the point where half the mapping work is done and half is to be done... So, the project is taking steps ahead, but I wouldn´t tell it´s gonna be released any other time than "When it´s done" :P ´cos I´ve found that the features planned for Legacy v2.0 could make this play a lot better than in v1.42 (that involves waiting for Legacy v2.0 to come out, using new features and also maybe remap some stuff and convert it to Hexen format). Maybe a Beta will be released before, but it´s not likely to be done until at least the five main maps are done and it wouldn´t surely be public.

June, 15th, 2005:

The project is progressing well... I´ve come with new ideas that have been added to different sections of the website, like "Features" or the "Status Report". World 1-3 could be near it´s completion... I´ve been considering about releasing a little beta of what it´s there to the public, or just distributing it around. I can´t still tell what will I do on that matter, but I would like to gather some opinions about it. Other than that, the main new is that a new level has been added to the plan, so the project will have even a larger delay!.

June, 10th, 2005:

Updating once again... There´s really a lot of more work into the maps themselves than into this site since I don´t want to give away details that may spoil the fun of seeing the thing "Live". What has been updated?. Well, the "Screenshots" section with a new image (not much, but it wouldn´t be nice to crowd the place with screenshots of the same map!) as well as a little update in the "Status Report" and the regular updates that have been done in "Working on".

May, 30th, 2005:

The "Status Report", and "Working on" sections have undergone some updates. Minor text fixing here and there has taken place and finally, three more screenshots have been added (this time of World 1-3). This time the descriptions of them are really ridiculous so don´t forget to check them out :P...

May, 21th, 2005:

The "Status Report" has been updated due to the completion of World 1-2. Also, the usual and almost daily updates to the "Working on" section have been done.

May, 15th, 2005:

A new update has been done to the site. Apart from the text adding here and there, the usual "Working on" mini-updates and some minor and undetectable changes on the layout (some horizontal rules in the Screenshots). Also, screenshots of World 1-2 have been added. With them you can get my usual cheesy description. I´ve also updated the "Status report" with the current stats of the project. Not much has changed though!.

May, 9th 2005:

A new section has been added!!!. It´s about what´s exactly being done in "Against the Clock" at the moment it´s updated. This way, if you want details about the levels you can get them. The section can be accesed from the main "Against the Clock" page, but you can also click here.

May, 6th 2005:

Two screenshots of World 1-2 have been added along with a little description of them, just to show that it´s still going ;). I will surely end up replacing determinated screenshots with others, but well, when this is released you will be able to take as much screenies as you want to. Also I´ve done minor fixes to the site here and there.

May, 3th 2005:

Some text has been added, some content has been polished and a new screenshot has been added just for the sake of it and to offer something that the Newdoom.com thread I opened for this (under the Legacy section) doesn´t offer.

May, 2th 2005:

The section of News about "Against the Clock" is up, at the same time the whole website does.
